I missed Tips Tuesday

So I missed Tuesday as I was going to begin writing this blog yesterday and it passed so quickly. Here I will talk about pageant things, fashion, and stuff about me. Hopefully the people who click will enjoy! 

My tips Tuesday is strictly for my pageant mammas! This is THE simple rule number one of signing up for a pageant: READ THE PAPERWORK / APPLICATION PACKET. This is the first rule. The rules tell you everything you should need to know. What if they don't? Ask the Director. The Director made the rules so she (maybe e) will be able to explain better. Ask questions after you read the paperwork. In my pageant information, I try to tell you everything up front to leave no room for questions. I do a lot of training so I understand how important it is to be able to give clear directions.

So what's in this packet? Rules. Guidelines. Attire Info. Theme Info. Categories. Prizes. Cost. Ages. Registration form. Etc. etc. etc.

If you have questions, ask! Some people are at different levels in their pageant experience so as a Director, we want you to understand every detail.

Adorable Dolls Glitz & Sweet Plums Natural National Pageant will host this exceptional pageant January 27-29, 2012 in Dallas, TX. The pageant is where glitz & natural beauties will compete (separately). Children ages 0-12 are able to compete in the pageant. Categories will include mandatory categories of introduction & formal and optional categories of theme (50s), talent, art (design a hat), outfit of choice runway style, and photo events. Paramount Pageants

Paramont Pageants' hosts child beauty pageants for all girls ages 0-18. Paramount Pageants offers pageants that meets all girls' needs - Adorable Dolls Glitz Pageant & Sweet Plums Natural Pageant for ages 0-12 and Texas High School Miss for ages 14-18. Child Beauty Pageants

I notice that people have an opinion about everything. Everything from the way a person looks, to how they live, to how they worship, to the activities your kids participate in. Of course this is where beauty pageants come in. It's a very controversial issue. Are beauty pageants considered an extracurricular activity? YES - that's exactly what it is. So why the big deal? Because people think they should be able to rule and dictate the way things are done. Children being in a beauty pageant is no sin. It teaches poise, grace, and stage presence. There are too many arenas where kids can't be afraid to get in front of people. Child beauty pageants allow for an opportunity to display good sportsmanship. Participation teaches children that it is a privilege and an honor to represent themselves and their families. Children learn to win and to lose; to take as well as to give. Self-motivation and is essential to the best contestants. Physical training and good health habits are essential to the best contestants also.
